The CRO Program

Conversion rate optimization services that pay for themselves.

A full A to Z testing program: ideation, prioritization, design, copywriting, development, QA, implementation and analysis. One monthly retainer, run by operators who have sat on your side of the table.

Conversion rate optimization services are the research, testing and implementation work that turns more of your existing visitors into paying customers. At Parah Group they run as one monthly program: we find what stops people buying, test the fix, ship the winner, and report what it did to conversion, average order value, subscription rate and profit.

Who the CRO Program is for, and who it is not for

Ecommerce and lead-generation brands that already have traffic and want more out of it. If your growth question is “why is all this traffic not converting”, you are in the right place. Most of the brands we work with are DTC brands, mostly on Shopify, where every point of conversion rate changes what they can afford to pay for a customer.

If you are still building traffic, a testing program is not your next dollar, and we will tell you so on the intro call. Statistical testing needs volume to reach significance, and pretending otherwise wastes your money. If you are pre-traffic, we are honest about it: come back when there is traffic to convert.

The gap is usually bigger than brands expect. Baymard Institute puts the average documented cart abandonment rate at 70.22 percent, and estimates that the average large ecommerce site could lift conversion 35.26 percent through better checkout design alone. Headroom like that is common in large stores, hidden in pages nobody has watched a real customer use.

What the CRO Program includes

01

Research

Session recordings, heat maps, scroll maps, review mining, post-purchase surveys and competitor analysis. Every test idea traces back to something a real visitor did or said, never to a swipe file.

02

Prioritization

Ideas ranked by expected business impact, confidence and effort, not by what is easiest to ship. High-traffic templates first.

03

Design and copy

Every variant designed and written in-house, so tests look and sound like your brand and measure the idea, not a styling gap.

04

Development and QA

Full-time QA before and after every launch, plus weekly full-site checks. Nothing ships blind and nothing breaks quietly.

05

Implementation

Winners ship in coordination with your dev team, through a shared repository where every queued change is visible before it goes live.

06

Analysis

What did the test do to conversion, average order value, subscription take rate and profit? That answer decides next month’s roadmap.

How the program runs

The CRO Program is a cycle, not a project. Each stage feeds the next, and every result, winner or loser, narrows where the next win is hiding.

StageWhat happensWhat you see

The tooling follows your stack. On Shopify we most often test with Intelligems and Shoplift; elsewhere we run VWO, Convert and Nelio. Between the human QA passes, an AI QA tool sweeps the site continuously, and every brand gets dedicated Slack channels with its team and, separately, with its developers.

Profit optimization, not vanity CVR

Most agencies call a test a winner the moment conversion rate moves, because that is what makes their report look good at renewal time. We ask what the test did to average order value, to subscription take rate, and to what a customer is worth six to twelve months out. A discount can buy you a conversion bump and cost you the business. We do not run that play.

It is also why post-purchase upsells sit inside our program when most CRO shops never touch them. Run well, that one workstream has added around 10 percent to average order value for the brands we manage it for, without touching the conversion that already happened.

Proof: Momentous came to us after their previous partner plateaued. We rebuilt the roadmap around business metrics: subscription take rate up 10 percent, and one shipping test alone added $2M in profit.

Why a testing program beats redesigns and opinions

A redesign changes everything at once and hopes. If revenue rises, nobody knows which change did it; if revenue falls, nobody knows which change to blame. A program moves the same site one measured change at a time, keeping what pays and reversing what does not.

The evidence for testing over judgment is strong. In Harvard Business Review, Ron Kohavi and Stefan Thomke describe a small change to how Bing displayed ad headlines that, once tested, lifted revenue 12 percent, worth more than $100 million a year in the United States. They also report that at Microsoft only about a third of tested ideas improve the metric they target. Opinions, including ours, are wrong often enough that the only safe way to change a store that makes money is to test the change.

What conversion rate optimization services cost

CRO agencies tend to charge in one of three ways: a monthly retainer, a fee per test, or a share of the lift. A share of the lift sounds aligned, but it rewards the agency for chasing short-term conversion wins and argues about attribution every month. We price the CRO Program as a monthly retainer scoped to your stage and traffic, agreed before we start and fixed for the engagement. No percentage of lift, no seat fees.

  • What moves the scope: traffic volume, the number of templates worth testing and development complexity.
  • What does not change it: how many tests win. You pay for the program, and the program is judged on profit.
  • Smaller first step: landing page projects start at $2,500 for brands that need one high-impact page before a full program.

The program covers every lane on this site: ecommerce CRO for the full path to purchase, Shopify CRO for stores on Shopify, A/B testing as the method, and B2B and lead-gen CRO for sites that sell through forms and booked calls. See what it produced in the case studies, or meet the person who runs every account on the CRO consultant page.

CRO services FAQs

01How much do conversion rate optimization services cost? +

Parah Group prices the CRO Program as a monthly retainer scoped to your stage and traffic, agreed before we start and fixed for the engagement. No percentage of lift and no seat fees. Standalone landing page projects start at $2,500.

02What is included in the CRO Program? +

Research, prioritization, design, copywriting, development, QA, implementation and analysis. Every test is designed and built in-house, checked before and after launch, and reported against conversion rate, average order value, subscription take rate and profit.

03How long until conversion rate optimization pays off? +

Results typically compound across the first quarter. One client posted 20 percent higher conversion, 25 percent higher average order value and 75 percent more subscriptions within three months.

04How much traffic do we need for CRO? +

Enough for tests to reach statistical significance on the pages that matter. If you are still building traffic, a testing program is not your next dollar, and we will tell you so on the intro call.

05Which testing platforms do you use? +

We are platform agnostic. On Shopify we most often run Intelligems and Shoplift; we also run VWO, Convert and Nelio. We fit your stack, not the other way around.

06What happens to losing tests? +

They are reported with the same detail as winners, along with what they taught us. Losers are tuition; hiding them is how agencies stay mediocre.

07Do you work outside Shopify? +

Yes, including WordPress builds and lead-generation sites. The one platform we decline is a heavily customized Magento backend; we would rather be honest than slow.

08Do you replace our developers or our ad agency? +

No. We ship in coordination with your developers through shared repositories and Slack channels. If you want us to run paid social too, we can.
