Supplement marketing agency for DTC brands that sell on subscription.
Paid social, landing pages and conversion optimization for supplement brands, measured on subscription take rate, average order value and profit.
A supplement marketing agency helps dietary supplement brands acquire customers profitably and keep them subscribed, through paid media, landing pages, conversion rate optimization and offer testing. Parah Group’s supplement work includes Momentous, where one shipping test added $2M in profit, and Bounce Nutrition, where paid social acquisition cost fell 20 percent in three months.

A huge market, a crowded auction, and claims that have to hold up
Demand is not the problem. In the Council for Responsible Nutrition’s 2024 consumer survey, conducted by Ipsos among 3,194 U.S. adults, three quarters of Americans said they use dietary supplements. The problem is that every supplement brand is bidding for the same buyers in the same ad auctions, and most of them sell products that look alike on a product page.
Supplements also carry claim risk that most categories do not. The FTC’s Health Products Compliance Guidance, issued in December 2022, says health claims require competent and reliable scientific evidence, generally randomized controlled human trials, and that testimonials never substitute for it. Structure and function claims need the FDA disclaimer that the agency has not evaluated the claim and that the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
So the brands that win are rarely the ones with the boldest claims. They win on the levers that do not need a claim: the offer, the subscription, the order value and the proof that fits their buyer.
Where supplement brands win
These are the levers that move supplement profit without leaning on bigger claims. Each row shows what we test and a result a supplement or DTC client has let us publish.
| Lever | What we test | Published result |
|---|---|---|
| Subscription | Buy box, default selection, offer framing, take-rate math | Momentous: subscription take rate up 10 percent |
| Shipping and pricing | Shipping structures and price elasticity | Momentous: one shipping test added $2M in profit |
| Paid social landing pages | Pages built for cold traffic, one per angle | Optimize Minerals: conversion up 40 percent on paid landing pages |
| Cart and offers | Social proof, a gamified cart progress bar, offer tests | Bounce Nutrition: paid social CAC down 20 percent in three months |
| Post-purchase | Upsells after the order is placed | Around 10 percent added to average order value |
Proof that fits the audience
Supplement buyers do not all trust the same evidence. Some audiences respond to scientific authority over social proof, so we test which one your buyers believe instead of assuming. One supplement client lived this exact problem: a site written for a warm organic audience, suddenly receiving cold paid traffic. The landing pages we built for that cold traffic converted 40 percent better, because they did the persuasion work the site had never needed to do.
Scientific proof can mean an ingredient study your team can substantiate, third-party testing results, or the credentials of the people behind the formula. Social proof can mean reviews, user-generated video or the number of subscribers. Which one earns the click, and which one earns the subscription, is a question for a test, not for a brainstorm.
What a supplement marketing program includes
Paid social
Meta, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat and Pinterest, with budget following the lowest acquisition cost and claims kept within your substantiation.
Landing pages for cold traffic
One page per winning angle, written from your customers’ language and tested against what you have.
Subscription optimization
The buy box, default and offer framing that decide take rate, tested without hurting overall conversion.
Offers and bundles
Bundles, multi-packs, free gifts and shipping thresholds built from real basket data.
Post-purchase
Upsells after checkout, the cleanest order-value lever there is.
Testing and reporting
A weekly scorecard on acquisition cost, order value, subscription take rate and profit, losers included.
Subscription is where supplement profit is decided
Most supplements are bought to be taken every day, which makes the subscription the real product. A brand that wins the first order but loses the subscription pays full acquisition cost again next month. That is why we test the subscription offer as hard as the ads: what is selected by default, how the saving is framed, and what the customer sees after checkout.
One client went from a 25 percent subscription take rate to 55 to 60 percent in six months, with three times as many subscribers, without hurting overall conversion. The approach is described on ecommerce CRO, and the testing method on A/B testing services.
How to choose a supplement marketing agency
- Ask how they handle health claims and substantiation before an ad goes live.
- Ask what they measure: return on ad spend alone, or acquisition cost, subscription take rate and profit.
- Ask whether they can build and test landing pages and subscription offers, or only run ads.
- Ask for supplement results they are allowed to publish.
- Ask how they decide between scientific proof and social proof for your buyers.

Supplement marketing FAQs
01What does a supplement marketing agency do? +
It helps dietary supplement brands acquire customers profitably and keep them subscribed: paid media, landing pages, offers, subscription and conversion rate optimization. Parah Group runs these as one program measured on acquisition cost, average order value, subscription take rate and profit.
02Which supplement brands have you worked with? +
Published supplement results include Momentous (subscription take rate up 10 percent and a $2M-profit shipping test), Bounce Nutrition (paid social acquisition cost down 20 percent in three months) and Optimize Minerals (paid landing pages up 40 percent).
03Can supplement brands advertise on Meta and TikTok? +
Generally yes, within each platform’s health and personal-attribute rules. The bigger risk is the claims: health claims need competent and reliable scientific evidence under FTC guidance, so we build ads and pages around claims your team can substantiate.
04Do you write supplement ad and landing page copy? +
Yes, from your customers’ own language: reviews, post-purchase surveys and support questions. Claims stay within what your substantiation supports, and your compliance counsel should review them before they run.
05How do you grow subscription revenue for supplements? +
By testing the subscription offer itself: the buy box, the default selection and the offer framing. One client went from a 25 percent subscription take rate to 55 to 60 percent in six months, with 3x subscribers, without hurting overall conversion.
06How much does a supplement marketing agency cost? +
Parah Group prices supplement programs as a monthly retainer scoped to your stage and traffic, fixed for the engagement, with no percentage of lift and no seat fees. Landing page projects start at $2,500.
07Do you work with CBD supplements? +
The FDA says it is currently illegal to market CBD as a dietary supplement, and ad platforms restrict it. Our CBD and hemp marketing page covers what is possible.
